D.E.O.P

DEOP stands for Divine Expression Of Praise. Its a praise dance group that I am apart of. In a way, because I did not peform with them at their last concert. The head of the dance group is Judy and she is a cool person. There isnt alot of members but they are all cool and fun to hang around. Their names are as follow; Judy,Nikishia,Leah,Soanne, Sabrina, Brianna, Shanel, Ashley, Nia,Joleen,Precious,Cluadian...I think thats about it, oh and their little Crytal. Im not sure if im missing anybody...

Every year D.E.O.P holds a concert. Where different group members do different dances and we have an opening and closing together. We are not the perfect praise dancers but we are one heck of a dancer, we are also very talented people, we all are. We do make mistakes once in a while, but get back in shape.

Here are a couple of our dances

Come Together

Micheal Jackson Tribute

I personally am not a big fan of Michael Jackson but do i do admire his dance moves and music. Although when I heard that he died, I was in shock, I couldn't believe MJ was dead. Right before Michael Jackson died he was rehearsing for a concert called "This is It". After watching the This is It,I think this clip is very amusing. I think Michael did an awesome job. No one haves moves that could compare to Michael Jackson's moves. Micheal's uniqueness is what made him who he was, an amazing artist, inspite all the changes and rough times he went through.R.I.P MICHAEL!!!

Neighborhood

My Neighborhood is nice and quiet, there are no interuptions or anything that would get neighbors upset and 98% of the neighbors are friendly. I live in East Flatbush, Brooklyn New York 11203. This picture shows the building i live in.I live on the first floor with my mom, grandma and stepfather.

What i like is that my family lives in the rest of the building My aunt and cousins are on the second and all the way on the top floor are my uncle, aunts and more cousins. This building is basically a 3family home including a basement but someother person lives there.

I like where i live because im right there near the B46 and a couple of stop away from the 3 and 4 train. I could walk a block if i wanted to pick up something from the store or something. Also the B46 takes me to Kings Plaza. On Ave H theres a Chinese Food, PopEyes, McDonald,KFC and Wendys and thats all the things i need to be satisfied.

The only downside for me is that it takes like 45 mins or 1 hour or more depending on traffic to get to school which is like in Clinton Hills

Tryouts!!!!

I tried out for the cheerleading team last week Thursday and got the results yesterday(Tuesday 20) and was excited to hear that i got in. I was there doubting my self saying how i could of d one better and other stuff, but i hope i stay committed.

President Barack Obama and The Nobel Peace Prize

Presidents Who Have Won The Nobel Peace Prize, President Obama, Presidents Who Have Won The Nobel Peace Prizewho has pledged to place diplomacy ahead of confrontation and reached out to a skeptical world with offers of mutual understanding, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace for what the Nobel committee called “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.”

“I will accept this award as a call to action, a call to all nations to confront the challenges of the 21st century,” Obama said in a White House Rose Garden appearance. “This award must be shared with everyone who strives for justice and dignity.”

Professing humility and surprise in the awarding of the prize, the president said, “I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as a recognition of American leadership. . . .

“To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who have been honored by this prize,” Obama said, suggesting that the prize has not always “been awarded just to honor specific achievements,” but also to lend some momentum to the cause of peace.

Obama is only the third sitting U.S. president to win the Nobel Prize for Peace — President Theodore Roosevelt won the award in 1906, President Woodrow Wilson in 1919.

The president was nominated for the prize after just weeks in office, with the award after less than nine months into the president’s term a sign that the Norwegian Nobel Committee is recognizing aspirations for peace over achievements.

The committee hailed the president’s creation of “a new climate in international politics.”

President Obama's Quote

  1. Theodore Roosevelt (1905)

Reunited

Since about 8 years ago i havent seen my father, he last visited me when i had my 8th birthday party i think. Anyways i always knew i had older brother and an older sis. Ive known my sis n and one of my brother. Me and my sis had communicated more than me and my father. One day, recently she invited me to her wedding in jersey and my mother said i could go. Some time later i spoke to my father and he was telling me that my other older borthers were goint to be there and i was going to meet them for the first time. At the time i didnt care all to much about my brothers i just really wanted to see my father. Dont get me wrong i still wanted to meet them though.

So the day of the wedding comes and i see my father walking down the isle with my sister. I was so happy to see them. The wedding was nice. After the wedding when i saw my father he hugged me and squeezed me(not literally), omg i felt a moment of love and i really miss you. We walked outside and my father introduced me to my brothers. They are grown in their early 20's but i can say that good looks run trough the family.

The day goes on and we are at the recpetion having fun.............then finally the time comes when i have to leave, i never thought i would feel so much pain when i had to leave, i was crying as i was getting ready to leave my dad had to ask my mom if i could stay with him for a little and she gave him permission.

So i stayed with my father and brothers for the rest of the night and eventually had to leave, and yes i did cry the second time i had to leave but had to get over it.

The day after the wedding my dad and brother were in brooklyn and wanted me to hang with them. I spent the rest of the day with them and they i finailly reach home and they headed back to new jersey.

My dad lives in Cali with some of my bros and another bro lives in florida and sis lives in jersey.
My brothers and dad are hillarious i had a really good time when i was hanging with them. I am looking forward in seeing them again.
