I cant believe its Christmas time! Time for all those gifts, but Christmas is not only for giving but also so spending time th family and friends, and remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season.

The Geometry Concept I chose is The Pythagorean Theorem.The Pythagorean Theorem is a formula relating the lengths of the three sides of a right triangle. It is used when we know the length of two sides of a right triangle and we need to get the length of the third side.

If we take the length of the hypotenuse to be c and the length of the legs to be a and b then this theorem tells us that:

a2 + b2= c2

Ex.

Example 1: Find the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle if the lengths of the other two sides are 3 inches and 4 inches.

Solution:
Step 1: Write down the formula	c2 = a2 + b2
Step 2: Plug in the values	c2 = 32 + 42
	c2 = 9 + 16
	c2 = 25
	c2= the square root of 25
	c = 5

Answer: The length of the hypotenuse is 5 inches.

Example 2: Find the length of one side of a right triangle if the length of the hypotenuse is 10 inches and the length of the other side is 9 inches.

Solution:
Step 1: Write down the formula	c2 = a2 + b2
Step 2: Plug in the values	102 = 92 + b2
	100 = 81 + b2
Step 3: Subtract 81 from both sides	19 = b2
	b = the square root of 19
	b » 4.36

Answer: The length of the side is 4.36 inches.

What I like about this website is that the question are very thorough. I give funtriva a thumbs up.

Amazon a a website where you can go to browse almost anything you need. The good thing about this is that the prices are usually lower than the prices you would get in store. You could also ask for a one day shipment without paying any exta fees. I give Amazon a thumbs up.

Youtube is a website where there are various types of videos on. So many video you can browse and watch. You can also makes videos yourself and upload them to youtube. I would give you tube a thumps up. There are some videos that you might not like, but we're all entitled to our opinon.

I would give CNET. COM a thumbs up. I would also recommend this website to people. This website is where you can look for electronics, such as camera, games, tv, dvd player and many more. Not only do they show you pictures of it. They also show you videos of how to use them. I would reccommed this website beacause i think that it is great for searching for electronics.
